A Johannesburg-based, experienced executive (and general do-gooder) who actively works towards the Big Hairy Audacious Goal of making a significant contribution to the transformation of South Africa’s economy. She started Motopi Consulting in May 2011, after nearly ten years of working for well-known local and global corporates in the fields of Marketing and Corporate Social Investment. Within only a year of having established Motopi Consulting (in 2012), she won the Black Business Quarterly Community Builder of the Year Award. In 2016, she was selected to represent South Africa at Dartmouth College through the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders. In order to impact and influence more corporate players and further the transformation agenda beyond just Motopi’s clients and partners, Lebogang also sits on various boards where she specializes in chairing Social & Ethics Committees.
Bongi is a Marketing Graduate from Central University of Technology, in the Free State. After completing her graduate program at GlaxoSmithKline, she joined Motopi as a CSI consultant. A role which afforded her the opportunity to use her passion for community development to contribute to social change and make real positive impact in the communities we live in. In order to further upskill herself in the CSI space, she has completed a Certificate Programme in Social Entrepreneurship through GIBS.
Puno is a BA Law & LLB graduate from the University of Pretoria and a Spoken Word Artist. Having pursued a parallel career in the developmental and creative industries, Puno is determined to optimize legislative policy and creativity to bring about meaningful social transformation in South Africa. In 2014 she founded The Cherry Blossom Project, an NPO dedicated to mentoring matriculant girls from underprivileged areas. Puno has completed a Management Development Programme in BBBEE through the University of South Africa.
Lebo is a young and dynamic person who believes that everyone deserves a “hand up” in life. She holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Sociology and Labour Studies from the University of Pretoria and an Honours degree in Sociology from the North-West University (Potchefstroom). She has completed the Future Leaders Development Programme through Wits Business School. Lebo wants to play an active role in the development and transformation of South Africa through social progression and economic advancement. Being part of the Motopi Consulting team will provide her the platform to achieve this goal.
